ROLE OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and executing strategies related to our global network of stores. This position requires autonomy in managing a designated group of countries, focusing on strategic insights through: global benchmarking and analysis, location evaluations with a comprehensive real estate perspective, in-depth assessments of store Profit & Loss, and the formulation of a global store portfolio strategy that includes control, discussions, and analyses with various markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Timely and precise preparation of weekly business case reviews concerning renewals, closures, remodels, relocations, and new openings.
  • Optimization of the global store portfolio by comparing various countries, chains, and business models.
  • Daily coordination with the Construction team to ensure alignment on key project metrics.
  • Analysis and reporting on essential financial metrics related to Global Stores performance, benchmarking actual results against budget targets and identifying critical issues.
  • Development and maintenance of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including store counts, retail capital expenditure consolidation, retail store portfolios, and post-audit analyses to synthesize results and derive critical business insights.
  • Fostering positive working relationships with functional partners across Global Business Units and Real Estate functions to cultivate a collaborative environment and establish trust as a key advisor.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Educational qualifications in Economics or Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Sound judgment and the capacity for independent decision-making.
  • Ability to maintain composure in a dynamic environment and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail along with time and project management skills.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace change.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse contexts.
  • Fluency in English.
