As an Operations Manager at Amazon Italia Logistica S.R.L., you will be responsible for leading a team of Area Managers and driving operational excellence across our sites. Your key responsibilities will include managing and developing a team of Area Managers, leading operational teams on a shift, and analyzing shift performance against relevant business objectives.
A Day in the Life
You will lead shifts at one of our operational sites, working closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security. You will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching your team, providing leadership and support to help them become the best managers they can be.
About the Team
The Customer Fulfillment team is the foundation of our business, handling over 1.5 million orders every day. We are a dynamic and fast-paced team that is always looking for ways to innovate and improve our operations. As an Operations Manager, you will be a key part of this team, helping to drive our success and growth.
Key Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a degree and relevant experience in successful people and stakeholder management. You should also have advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and intermediate proficiency in the local language. Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques is also desirable.
