Network Engineer Role at JMA Wireless

At JMA Wireless, we are seeking a skilled IT Network Engineer to manage and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing secure and efficient networking solutions, providing network-related support, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices in network design and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Configure and optimize routing protocols to ensure efficient and reliable network performance.
  • Implement and manage secure networking solutions, including SDWAN and IPsec tunnels.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in network design and security.
  • Provide support for network-related issues, troubleshooting problems, and resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Familiarize yourself with the existing network environment and infrastructure.
  • Create, update, and maintain documentation for network systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to optimize network performance and security.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve our network infrastructure.

Requirements:
  • Experience in enterprise networking and routing.
  • Proficiency with SDWAN and IPsec tunnel configurations.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices in network security and design.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki and/or Palo Alto is a plus.
  • Experience in providing network-related support and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to create and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic IT environment.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
