Aethos Monterosa, nestled in the heart of the Aosta Valley, offers a unique blend of luxury and adventure. Our 30-room five-star resort features state-of-the-art facilities, including a climbing wall and spa. We're currently seeking an experienced Climbing Instructor to join our team.
About the Role
As a Climbing Instructor at Aethos Monterosa, you'll lead guided climbing sessions for guests of all skill levels. Your expertise will ensure a safe and supportive environment, while your passion for climbing will inspire others to reach new heights.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Guiding climbers on various routes, adapting instruction to meet individual needs
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed, maintaining equipment, and conducting regular inspections
- Taught climbing techniques, from basics to advanced, emphasizing hands-on learning and feedback
- Creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging climbers to push their limits and celebrate achievements
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and continuous learning
Requirements
We're looking for an experienced Climbing Instructor with:
- 1+ years of hospitality experience (advantageous)
- Extensive climbing experience, with a strong understanding of techniques and safety protocols
- Certification in climbing instruction, first aid, and rescue
- Fluency in English and Italian (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all
