Production Coordinator

Electronics for Imaging is seeking a skilled Production Planner to oversee the planning and execution of production operations in our Comun Nuovo, Italy office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain accurate production schedules to meet customer demands and sales forecasts.
2. Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
3. Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
4. Use SAP to track material movements, quantities on order, and current balances to ensure materials are available for production.
5. Confer with department supervisors to determine project status and identify opportunities for improvement.
6. Oversee the setup of parts in SAP, including foreign trade data, material master, and assembly routing.
7. Participate in weekly meetings with plant production managers and the Manufacturing Production Manager to discuss production strategies and identify opportunities.
8. Use SAP to create daily stock transport orders to ship materials between manufacturing plants and warehouses.
9. Monitor spares required for field service support and excess and obsolete inventory related to assigned product lines.

Requirements:

1. At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production management, and production planning.
2. At least 1 year of experience in SAP PP module (forecasting, planning, production scheduling) and PDM software (Agile, Matrix, etc.).
3. Computer skills using Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint).
4. Knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, and production scheduling principles.
5. Knowledge of master data that drives forecasting, planning, production scheduling, and shipping functionality in SAP.
6. Ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and liaise with co-workers of all levels.
8. High school diploma minimum; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
