Key Responsibilities- Conduct relevant activities, undertake project management, and provide advice for service delivery within your area of experience, adhering to budget constraints and contractual requirements.
- Produce deliverables to the agreed schedule, budget, and quality levels within an appropriate format and take responsibility for reviewing and monitoring other employees' work as requested.
- Discuss and present deliverables with internal/external clients and suggest solutions as necessary.
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge, and awareness.
- Assess or recommend the time and value of work to be undertaken for external clients and assist in identifying the most appropriate fee and cost structure.
- Mentor/coach other employees, as appropriate, to achieve effective knowledge transfer and application.
- Contribute to external client management, ensuring service delivery is continually improved through monitoring and acting on client feedback appropriately.
- Ensure the appropriate authorizations are gained and are kept up to date.
- A degree or equivalent (BEng with MSc or MEng) from a tertiary organization recognized by Lloyd's Register and the Engineering Council in the relevant field of engineering.
- Five years of previous experience in a similar role supervising Marine Surveyors.
- Proficiency in the English and Italian languages commensurate with the work.
