As a Senior Structural and Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for interfacing with subcontractor discipline leaders and client lead engineers, attending project meetings, and controlling subcontractor activities and resources.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and controlling civil and structural deliverables, collecting data necessary for design through site surveys, and coordinating with site engineers and construction managers to resolve issues on site.
You will also prepare material requisitions and technical bid evaluations, ensure deadline respect, and follow project schedules.
Additionally, you will prepare civil and structural discipline specifications and standard drawings, subcontractors' scope of work, MTOs, and method statements, and coordinate with internal engineers, designers, and drafters to ensure correct engineering deliverables.
Experience as a Civil and Structural PSL for Oil and Gas projects is required, with a master's degree or equivalent in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university.
Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills, you will also have the ability to use CAD and FEM software, such as AutoCAD, STAAD.PRO, and SAP2000.
This role is based in the Milano office of SICIM SpA, with a work location at Via Enrico Caviglia, 11, 20139 Milano MI - Italia.
