Job Description

NTT DATA Italia's Business Unit Cybersecurity is seeking a highly skilled professional with advanced technological expertise in Network Security and Endpoint Protection (Senior Network Defender) to join our team.

As a Senior Network Defender, you will contribute to the definition of our offering and manage projects related to Network Security (firewalling, secure remote access solutions, ZTNA, Secure Web Gateway, IDS/IPS, Secure Mail Gateway, Network Detection and Response, etc.) and Endpoint Protection (next-generation antimalware solutions, EDR, etc.).

You will be responsible for interpreting and understanding the typical challenges of these contexts and implementing effective actions to define and achieve project goals, managing communication and collaboration with project stakeholders at various levels.

Your primary objective will be to contribute to the definition of our offering and delivery capabilities in the described areas, ensuring the availability of expertise on involved technologies.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be able to manage project team activities with good autonomy and serve as a reference point for problem management;
  • Lead projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met by the team;
  • Effectively manage communications with project stakeholders on the client side;
  • Be able to manage and resolve operational and managerial criticalities that may arise during a project or in Operations;
  • Be able to quickly acquire expertise on new technological solutions in Network Security and Endpoint Protection areas;
  • Be available to work occasionally on a transfer basis.

Desirable requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project activities in Network Security/Endpoint Protection contexts with medium to high complexity;
  • Excellent knowledge of protocol architectures (Internet, ISO/OSI, etc.), networking topics (routing), and main Network Security and Endpoint Protection topics;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel);
  • Propensity for study and in-depth analysis of new topics;
  • Good knowledge of the English language.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Excellent synthesis and effective transmission of information skills, both in written and oral form, at various levels (technical and executive);
  • Ability to adapt to evolving work context;
  • Goal-oriented approach and excellent team leading and problem-solving skills.
