We are currently seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our Environment and Health Department in Rome or Milan.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience in Compliance, Transaction, and Corporate Services with a focus on Health & Safety compliance and due diligence work in the M&A sector.

Responsibilities
  • Execution of Environmental and/or Health and Safety Due Diligence
  • Execution of EHS compliance audits
  • Execution of H&S Risk Assessments and review of H&S Plan
  • Execution of ESG review
  • Taking direct part in assignments with direct interaction with Clients and third parties
  • Proposal and reporting in Italian or English language

The successful candidate will be part of our international network working on various projects related to contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk, and sustainability.

The role offers flexible work environment, remote working up to 3-4 days per week, lunch vouchers, investment in your development, and leaders you can count on.

Requirements
  • A Master level university degree in Occupational Health and Safety/Environmental/Chemical engineering, Environmental Science or similar.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with D. Lgs. 81/2008 and D. Lgs 152/2006, ASTM standards.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written, a third language (e.g. German, Spanish, French) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of decommissioning, REACH, and CLP regulation is a plus.

The estimated salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
