Job Description

The Project Manager – Interiors in Motion will be responsible for the planning and implementation of various company projects. He/She will coordinate internal departments with customers and suppliers, ensuring compliance with costs, times, and agreed quality. The position reports to the R&D Manager of Poltrona Frau's Interiors in Motion Business Unit.

Main Responsibilities
Coordinate product development teams as assigned project manager
Plan and monitor product development activities until established objectives are achieved
Act as interface and contact person towards the Customer for the relevant project until a suitable period after the production launch of the product
Conduct technical-production feasibility analyzes on new products
Identify new potential suppliers of materials in collaboration with the Purchasing/SQE Office
Start pilot orders of these materials until the product/supplier is qualified
Manage technical changes to the project agreed with the client and coordinates all related activities
Provide Process Quality support in managing customer complaints and reports after the start of series production
Plan activities relating to transfers of production sites and monitor their progress
Supervise the creation of the prototype at the Modeling Shop
Plan, request, and monitor the results of all necessary laboratory tests on the new product (Technical Resolution and Self-qualification)
Prepare cost estimates for new products aimed at formulating offers

Requirements
Master Degree in Engineering
Minimum 3 years in a similar role in structured and international companies
Fluent English
Origin from the automotive sector (OEM / Tier 1)
Knowledge of AS400/SAP applications is appreciated
