**Job Summary**

The Lead Auditor is a key member of our team, responsible for leading audits and assessments in compliance with DNV standards and international standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Plan and execute audits, reporting findings and following up within agreed timescales and economic frameworks.
  • Meet professional practice standards and demonstrate competence in core areas.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with client personnel.
  • Carry out audits in an efficient and competent manner, as required by instructions/Quality System and/or as per formal agreement between the client and DNV.
  • Contact clients to confirm planned activities.
  • Ensure the independent nature of the DNV scheme is not compromised at any time.
  • Maintain/acquire Auditor Registration with DNV or any other registration having been a basis for acceptance as Lead Auditor within DNV.
  • Maintain high morale by contributing to an effective positive work environment.
  • Act as a team player who works well with others and guides through the professional development process, including timely completion of reviews and goal setting.
  • Maintain effective communication with line management, between audit team members and client stakeholders.
  • Ensure the correct use of production tools dedicated to auditing activities and the communication of updated data, to allow proper issue and management of certificates.

**Requirements:**

  • Already qualified as third-party auditor according to food safety standard.
  • Fluent Italian and a good knowledge of English.
  • Team player.
  • Positive and result-driven mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Availability to travel in Italy and occasionally abroad.
  • People management skills.
  • Very good knowledge of Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
