Job Summary:

NUSO has an opening for a full-time Systems Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for maintenance and implementation of new systems for various voice applications. You will assess security risks, design and implement upgrade paths for existing platforms, and evaluate existing platforms and their upgrade schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installs, tests, and maintains enterprise/carrier-grade platforms.
  • Proficiency in the full range of activities, including interpreting drawings and completing network modifications and maintenance.
  • Responds to emergency events of a system failure.
  • Uses a personal computer to make software changes and patches.
  • Monitors the system alerts and provides solutions.
  • Proactively assesses overall system health.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or its equivalent and 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
  • Strong proven knowledge of Microsoft Server OS platforms, MS SQL deployment design, Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy, Microsoft Domain Controller, Cloud computing (VmWare, KVM), and Networking (LAN, WAN, routing).
