Training Director

At Amazon, we're committed to creating a dynamic and challenging work environment that fosters growth and development. As a Training Director, you'll play a key role in managing a team of trainers to deliver high-quality learning experiences to our Associates and Managers.
Working closely with the Learning Manager, you'll partner with operations to ensure our customers' needs are met. You'll be based in an Amazon Fulfilment Centre (FC), where you'll work closely with the teams who make our FCs great.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing training plans that minimize disruption to operations and ensure training is of high quality.
- Auditing the quality of training/coaching and putting actions in place when necessary.
- Planning and executing the recruitment and training of the best instructors.
- Ensuring positive and effective collaboration between the learning team and other stakeholders.
- Managing a team of Trainers and supporting them with their career development.
- Analysing and interpreting metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Providing training to the learning team on changes to learning materials/processes.
Basic qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Previous experience of delivering training and coaching to employees.
- An analytical approach to assessing the effectiveness of training interventions.
- Ability to communicate in Italian.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Ability and initiative to understand the business needs, analyse issues and drive solutions.
- Ability to communicate with and influence senior stakeholders.
- Capacity to bring clarity to complex situations.
- Evidence of applying lean manufacturing concepts or the ability to teach them.
