Heat Transfer Solutions Specialist

The Sales Engineer will work closely with customers, including end-users and engineering companies, to develop cooling solutions for their processes. This involves collaborating with field sales professionals and manufacturer's representatives in all aspects of the sales effort, from negotiating purchase orders to delivering exceptional customer service.

This role requires a deep understanding of heat transfer calculations, mechanical design aspects of equipment, and the ability to work up cost estimates within our system. The Sales Engineer position has a broad range of responsibilities, including:

• Completing thermal analysis of customer requirements and designing thermal systems using heat transfer principles and calculations.
• Assisting other sales engineers with the design and proposal of our systems.
• Preparing proposals on project technical specifications and requirements.
• Supervising and organizing bid preparation to ensure accuracy of costing estimating.
• Participating in presentations at customer locations and negotiations.
• Maintaining continuous communication with customers to provide engineered-to-order heat transfer products.
• Participating in training sessions, meetings, skill-building classes, and professional development opportunities.
• Attending industry conferences to develop expertise in heat transfer technology.
• Working with management to create and implement sales strategies and policies.
• Assisting managers with other tasks as needed.
• FOLLOWING ALL SAFETY POLICIES AND COMPANY-WIDE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred) and professional experience in Heat Transfer. Additionally, you should possess:

• MEDIUM-LEVEL TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE to estimate and sell with some degree of independence.
• EXCEPTIONAL VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS along with organization and presentation skills.
• Able to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
• WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER SOFTWARE, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Some working knowledge of Autocad and/or Solidworks is ideal.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently (self-directed) and as part of a team.
• Confidently interact with internal and external customers.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Required to travel approximately 25-35% internationally and domestically.
