Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality tests on standard and development products in compliance with regulations and operating procedures, respecting required and conditioning timeframes.
  • Document analysis results with instrument reports where possible.
  • Use test methods with adequate knowledge of the same.
  • Perform and complete complex, varied, and atypical tasks and assignments.
  • Knowledge of methods and equipment used to solve test problems.
  • Support doubts raised by production, PS, and other functions regarding test methods and procedures. Support less experienced team members internally in the laboratory.
  • Develop solutions to complex problems and support the development of new procedures.
  • Use the workflow required by LIMS (Sample Manager) for receiving samples, the type of tests requested, and entering data into the system (SM/SAP).
  • Perform and document instrument checks using the appropriate tools (MSA, Control Charts).
  • Report and ensure that instruments and equipment are correctly repaired in the event of errors or operating problems.
  • Apply safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment; collaborate to increase laboratory safety and maintain a safe work environment for themselves and others.
  • Cleaning and routine maintenance of machinery and work equipment.

Requirements:

  • Graduation as a chemical expert or Industrial chemistry degree or Chemistry degree.
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to work.
  • Analytical thinking and structured way of working, full technical knowledge and skills in complex analyses requiring the use of chemicals.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Precise, accurate, and independent work.
  • Availability to work shifts with commitment and flexibility.
  • English basic/intermediate level.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • 5S.
  • Knowledge of SAP, LIMS (SM, CHIP), office package.
  • Organizational and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of statistics.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, physical, thermal, and self-extinguishing analyses.
  • Previous work experience in the field of quality control relating to chemical analyses, standard and non-standard, and the use of solvents (viscosity, titration).
