About the Role

As a Compliance Assurance Specialist at Qima, you will receive extensive training and gain international field experience. You will conduct factory audits to assess compliance with labor laws and ethical standards, focusing on labor rights, health and safety, environmental security, and other relevant areas. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Audit manufacturing sites to verify compliance with international standards and client procedures.
  • Review documentation, such as payroll and contracts, to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct employee interviews to gather insights on working conditions and labor rights.
  • Identify and report non-compliance issues, recommending corrective actions.
  • Provide recommendations and follow-up on corrective actions to ensure sustained improvements.
  • Stay informed on regulations and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a higher education degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related major. Strong knowledge of audit programs, such as SA8000, ISO14001, and ICTI, is preferred. APSCA RA level certification is also desirable. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
