Job Summary

Costa Crociere S.p.A. is seeking a skilled Theatre Light Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our entertainment activities, ensuring the correct use of lighting equipment and adhering to operating instructions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Guarantee technical support during rehearsals and shows to ensure correct lighting entertainment.
  • Supply equipment according to requests and needs to support planned activities.
  • Be responsible for all equipment and maintain it to prevent untimely deterioration.
  • Report problems and equipment malfunctions to the Entertainment Technical Manager.
  • Coordinate the work of staff cleaners used for operating follow spots during shows.
  • Report equipment problems to the Head Technician and follow Company procedures.
  • Store equipment in lockers to ensure conformity with inventories.
  • Provide routine maintenance to guarantee correct equipment functioning.
  • Support external service suppliers in extraordinary maintenance.
  • Assemble and dismantle equipment to provide timely execution of planned activities.
  • Provide technical support for light management in lounges and swimming pools when requested.
Job Requirements
  • Secondary school diploma.
  • At least 1 year experience in technical services or theatre.
  • Rigger Certificate (preferable).
  • Knowledge of light techniques and equipment.
  • Computer literate.
  • English knowledge B1.
