We are seeking a highly skilled Requirements Management Engineer to join our team at Alstom, a global leader in the transportation industry. As a Requirements Management Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the contractual requirements of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Implement global requirements management processes on tenders, projects, and product development, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to the DOORS database and are trained on the tool, process, and methodology.
- Act as the deputy to the TPM, supporting the application of the requirements management process on a day-to-day basis, including defining the RM strategy, writing and maintaining the RM plan, and working with scope owners to ensure they understand their actions and are working according to the project schedule.
- Ensure that contractual baselines and changes are implemented in DOORS and communicated to the engineering team for technical clarification and decisions.
- Drive engineers in their requirement development activities, helping scope owners to build requirements specifications and traceability to design and validation, and performing requirements quality reviews and providing feedback and proposals for improvement.
- Perform change and configuration management, making baselines according to RM processes, in cooperation with the configuration manager, and governing and maintaining baseline release notes according to product baseline strategy.
- Contribute to the requirements management network by providing feedback and improvements to the global RM métier through the RM site representative, supporting the global RM métier in documenting processes, methodologies, and trainings, and supporting DOORS bug reports, issue resolution, and tool upgrades.
- University degree in engineering, with a minimum of two years of requirements-related experience utilizing database solutions for requirements management (DOORS).
- Practical experience of working on projects at various stages in a project lifecycle.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Systems engineering/integration conceptual knowledge.
- Technical writing, requirement elicitation, and formalization.
