Job Summary: Belcan Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Airframe Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing structural analysis and ensuring the integrity of airframe structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and classical aircraft hand stress analysis methods
  • Review and validate calculations and models to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Prepare formal reports of findings and present results to stakeholders
  • Liaise with internal teams and external customers to ensure project success
  • Manage project work and oversee junior analysts to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
  • Seven or more years of experience in airframe analysis and structural integrity
  • Strong understanding of structural load paths and failure modes
  • Proficiency in hand calculations and finite element analysis using Femap/Nastran (FEA)
  • Experience with static and fatigue analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Global loads modeling experience
  • Electric aircraft experience
  • Composites analysis experience
  • Crack growth analysis experience
  • Programming skills in VBA or similar
