About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Automation Specialist to join our team at KONE México. As a key member of our manufacturing solution team, you will be responsible for designing and coding functional programs and applications for electromechanical subsystems.

Responsibilities

  • Translate application use cases into functional applications.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
  • Collaborate with development and IT teams to manage digital factory environment.
  • Responsible for following best practices around testing, defect tracking, test suite maintainability, and quality.
  • Create testing solutions that can be reused effectively and efficiently.
  • Implement functional testing systems from R&D test specifications.

Requirements

  • Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of .NET framework ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of NI LabView.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design and architectural patterns.
  • Familiarity with RDBMS (MS SQL Server) and SQL language to be able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
  • Familiar with code versioning tools (Git).
  • Excellent ability to read electrical and electronic diagrams.
  • Good knowledge of testing procedures and technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and procedures.

  • Has a good knowledge of English.
  • Has project management skills.
