Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution: Guide, execute, and track progress to ensure timely completion of multiple phases of the engineering or production work process.
  • Technical Innovations: Develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems and opportunities for improvement, considering future implications.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate planning, organization, and implementation of engineering studies or programs within specific objectives and target dates.
  • Quality and Efficiency: Lead and teach quality and efficiency management techniques, identify risk assessments, and ensure follow-up and closure.
  • Technical Expertise: Ensure technical, safety, or reliability studies and act on results, may be held accountable by authorities.
  • Long-Term Plans: Develop specific plans and KPIs to drive reliability, efficiency, and safety in the area of expertise.

Requirements:

  • M.Sc. or equivalent with a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • Minimal 5 years of technical working experience in an industrial environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in industrial process troubleshooting, unit performance assurance, and optimization.
  • Conducting Hazard and Operability study reviews.
  • Proven process engineering design experience considering technical, safety, and environmental aspects.
  • Experience using engineering tools: Aspen Plus, HYSIS, and Exchanger Design & Rating.
  • Thorough understanding of unit operations, process equipment, and technology.
  • Team player with excellent analytical capabilities and conceptual thinking.
  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication skills.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Strong result-orientation.
