About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team at GRS Recruitment. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients, working closely with our management team to ensure the successful completion of audit engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to Managers in the delivery of client service and completion of audit engagements
  • Interact daily with the leadership of the engagements
  • Conduct audits based on IFRS and ISA and provide advice according to international best practices
  • Be actively involved in the most challenging areas of the audit including areas of judgements and estimates
  • Engage in constant communication with clients and maintain client relations on a day-to-day basis
  • Report audit issues to the audit manager on a timely basis
  • Participate in the design and implementation of the Audit Plan
  • Manage people and time ensuring excellent execution and provision of outstanding services to the clients
  • Develop suitable solutions through discussion in audit teams and with clients
  • Work with high-profile clients on a variety of local and international engagements
  • Perform a variety of assurance and testing work for clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified. Candidates close to acquiring their ACA/ACCA qualification will also be considered
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in a reputable Professional Services Firm
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Can-do attitude
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve results, whilst maintaining a client-focused approach
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Strong computer literacy
