Senior Software Engineer in C++ and Qt

We are currently seeking a Senior Qt/C++ Software Developer and Linux Specialist to enhance our R&D team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance of the Debian or Arch Linux distribution utilized in our Operator Terminals.
  • Develop and enhance Qt applications to support and test our Operator Terminals.
  • Draft and update comprehensive technical documentation.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of modern C++ (C++11/14/17).
  • Experience in developing applications using Qt5/QML.
  • Expertise in the integration, configuration, and upkeep of Linux distributions, including the packaging and release of Debian or Arch Linux packages.
  • Familiarity with gnu autotools (automake).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Bash.
  • Experience with software version control systems (GIT and SVN).
  • Knowledge of Ethernet networks and key protocols (TCP/IP, ARP, DNS, IPMP, DHCP, etc.).
  • Good command of the English language (B2/C1 level).

Preferred Skills:

  • Cybersecurity knowledge, including SSL and TLS protocols, as well as major cryptographic algorithms.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
