We are currently seeking a Corporate Compliance Specialist to join our Legal team in Rome. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and implementation of models to comply with Legislative decree no. 231/2001 and anti-bribery, anti-money laundering, data protection/GDPR, antitrust, occupational safety, and environmental regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing regulatory compliance assistance in the preparation and implementation of compliance programs;
- Supporting the performance of legal audits and reviews of compliance programs;
- Assisting in the definition of control protocols, procedures, and other internal control tools with a focus on compliance;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes, particularly with regard to the administrative liability of entities and anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, transparency, antitrust, and data protection/GDPR compliance;
- Preparing minutes of company body meetings and reports to the supervisory body (set up pursuant to Legislative decree no. 231/01);
- Supporting external training and preparing opinions.
The ideal candidate should have a combined bachelor's and master's degree in law, preferably with a specialization relating to compliance in terms of the administrative liability of entities pursuant to Legislative decree no. 231/01. Qualified lawyers are preferred. Essential skills include knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), written and spoken English, excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, and a flexible and dynamic approach. A master's degree in a related field or two years of experience in administrative liability will be viewed favorably.
Salary: €55,000 - €65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. KPMG Studio Associato is an equal opportunity employer.
