Job Title: Scribe/Peer Assistant

This is an in-house position that requires a registered student in the class with the student needing services. The Scribe/Peer Assistant will be responsible for taking notes and providing them in either typed or handwritten format.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take notes during classes and provide them to the student in need of services
  • Upload notes at least once per week, but more frequent uploads are encouraged
  • Handwritten notes must be scanned or photographed to upload
  • Scanning can be done at the LSS office during work hours
  • Neat and legible handwriting and typing are required to provide clear scanning
  • Reliable class attendance is essential
Requirements:
  • Registered student in the class with the student needing services
  • Ability to take notes and provide them in a clear and concise manner
  • Reliable class attendance
Physical Demands:
  • Neat and legible notetaking
Wage Rate:

$10/hour
