Job Description

Job Title: Export Control Officer

Company: Robert Bosch Group

Job Summary:

The Export Control Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring export control regulations, ensuring compliance with global standards and procedures, and supervising the implementation of export control procedures regionally and locally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Implementation and Execution
  • Compliance with export control regulations, including monitoring of national export control law changes and adjusting standard processes due to local legal requirements
  • Transfer and implement globally defined processes to regional/local level where required
  • Monitoring of business activities in the area of responsibility and daily trade operations execution
  • Reporting to local authorities and serving as contact person and coordinator in case of local external and internal audits
  • Continuous monitoring of business activities

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Law or Economics
  • Leadership and collaboration skills, result orientation, and very good communication skills
  • Technical knowledge in the field of export control and sanctions compliance and professional experience in the field of foreign trade
  • Demonstrated knowledge of export controls, including Export Control Classification, and willingness to continuously inform on current legislation, its changes, and adjust processes where necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP GTS
  • Fluent in English and Italian
