Job Title: Sales Controlling Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sales Controlling Manager to lead our commercial controlling function and drive business partnership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sales Analysis and Optimization: Collaborate closely with our sales team to continuously analyze revenue drivers, cost factors, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Performance Transparency and Reporting: Provide comprehensive and timely reporting, ensuring transparency and empowering decision-makers with accurate data-driven insights.
  • Top Key Account Negotiations: Prepare and support commercial negotiations, creating profitable and strong relations with key accounts in the Italian food retail sector.
  • Strategic Business Partnership: Collaborate on sales-related projects and contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies aligned with overall company goals.
  • People Management: Provide structure and guidance, open communication, conflict management, and employee development.
  • Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance departments to optimize business processes.
  • Controlling Excellence: Independently drive the evolution and expansion of our controlling tools, processes, and methods.
Requirements:
  • Several years of experience in controlling or sales within an internationally operating company, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Strong affinity for numbers, analytical thinking, process orientation, and a solid understanding of complex business contexts.
  • High initiative, assertiveness, proactive problem-solving skills, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Team player who thrives in a dynamic environment, collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, SAP user knowledge, and familiarity with BI tools are beneficial.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; German language skills are advantageous.
