UI Design Expert

At Jakala, we are seeking a UI Design Expert to join our team. As a UI Design Expert, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining design systems that ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints. You will develop reusable UI components, documentation, and guidelines for scalable digital solutions. Your expertise in design systems will allow you to balance visual design with functionality, creating systems that not only look great but are also easy to implement by developers.

Figma Mastery
Stay current on Figma updates and leverage it to collaborate and manage complex design workflows.

Brand Transformation
Take a brand guide and translate it into engaging, user-centered digital designs that align with the brand identity.

Web Integration Skills
Collaborate with developers, utilizing VEV, HTML, or other web technologies to ensure design feasibility.

Leadership & Collaboration
Lead workshops to align teams on design goals, lead meetings with clients and stakeholders, and take charge of projects from concept to execution.

Qualifications
Design Systems Expertise: You have a passion for creating and maintaining design systems that ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.

Figma Proficiency: You are highly knowledgeable about Figma and stay up-to-date with the latest trends, updates, and best practices within the tool.

Brand Guide Interpretation: Given a brand guide, you can effectively translate it into cohesive digital experiences.

Web Technologies: While your core expertise is in digital design, your knowledge of tools like VEV (a web design platform) or HTML enhances your ability to collaborate with developers or even prototype and design with the end product in mind.

Leadership & Collaboration: You are confident in leading workshops, collaborating with stakeholders, and presenting your designs to both internal teams and clients.
