Position Overview

HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the execution of various initiatives within our High Voltage Business Unit. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all project activities align with organizational protocols, contractual obligations, quality benchmarks, and health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Project Controls team to establish comprehensive project documentation, including scope definitions, financial frameworks, scheduling, and risk management strategies.

2. Uphold best practices in project execution and adherence to company policies. Monitor project advancement and resource allocation efficiently. Supervise financial aspects of the project, including invoicing, expenditures, and cash flow management. Identify and manage risks while seizing opportunities for improvement. Document and disseminate lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure formal project closure in accordance with contractual stipulations and facilitate customer acknowledgment.

3. Implement contract and claims management consistently, in line with company standards and contractual agreements. Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to procure necessary services, materials, and equipment from both internal and external sources. Assist in negotiations, claims, and modifications related to the project.

4. Serve as the primary contact for clients and a point of escalation for project-related challenges. Foster and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication across all parties involved.

5. Guarantee compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies throughout the project.

6. Embody the core values of safety and integrity, taking ownership of actions while supporting colleagues and the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Management;
  • Proficient in English and Italian;
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities;
  • PMI/PMP certification is advantageous;
  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
