At Technip Energies, we're accelerating the energy transition with innovative engineering solutions. We're seeking an experienced Automation & Process Control Specialist to join our Engineering division team based in Rome, Italy.
About the RoleYou'll be working within the Digital Plants Section, responsible for:
- Detailed design, testing, and commissioning of process control strategies, complex logics, and sequences;
- Managing supply and commissioning of Advanced Process Control systems, Operator Training Simulators, and Digital Application software;
- Collaborating on different project phases: FEED, EPC, and Revamping Projects.
Your key responsibilities may include:
- Studying process operation and defining suitable control strategies for DCS implementation;
- Defining basic and complex logics/sequences for DCS/ESD configuration;
- Providing technical assistance during FAT phases and site commissioning;
- Preparing technical specifications and requisitions for Operator Training and Advanced Process Control systems;
- Coordinating with other disciplines for interface management and ensuring timely reporting.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 3-6 years of experience in detailed engineering and design for Refinery/Gas/Power/Renewables/Infrastructure projects;
- A Chemical Engineering Degree (preferred);
- Knowledge of process units operation, general Instrumentation and Automation principles, safety interlocks, and machinery controls;
- Fluent English language skills and computer literacy;
- Ability to perform work on time with required quality levels and excellent communication skills.
We provide a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €90,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. You'll also have opportunities for international mobility, professional growth, and a chance to work on challenging projects that drive the energy transition.
