Job Title: Senior Embedded Firmware Developer

At Alpitronic, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Firmware Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded firmware for microcontroller and PLA applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop embedded firmware for microcontrollers and PLA applications
  • Develop and enhance embedded Linux applications, including device tree adoptions, peripheral integrations, and performance optimizations
  • Develop and integrate system and application software
  • Test and debug software on target and test environments
  • Maintain close communication with developers, project heads, and other internal stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in software development on ARM-based microcontrollers
  • Excellent knowledge of C and C++, good knowledge of VHDL
  • Experience with main MCU peripherals (ADC, GPIO, Timer) and communication interfaces (CAN, I2C, SPI)
  • Experienced with on-chip debug and tracing tools
  • Independent and solution-oriented working attitude, analytical thinking, enthusiasm, good communication skills, and ability to work in a team
  • Fluent in English, Italian, or German
