Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team at eTeam Inc. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manual testing and a proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.

The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for building automated tests and/or infrastructure for complex projects, with a focus on creating and executing both manual and automated tests for the iOS Research app study content and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain automated tests based on established test plans and as needed for new features and defect investigations
  • Document test plans/test cases and other testing procedures
  • Execute test cases, document product defects and report testing results
  • Participate in cross-functional email and group project discussions

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience automating iOS software (Python, XCUI experience highly desired)
  • 5+ years' experience testing mobile application software (iOS preferred)
  • Proactive, requires limited direction
  • Ability to define, execute and automate comprehensive test suites in the absence of detailed specs/documentation
  • Experience working directly with Software Engineering, Project Management and other cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and report quality metrics
  • Experience working both independently and within a team on multiple, simultaneous product/feature releases
  • Experience with UNIX-based systems for debugging and analysis
  • Creative thinker and passionate about quality
