Job Title: Structure Specialist

At Ferretti Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Structure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in naval architecture and engineering, with experience in yacht structural design development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the structural design development of yacht's hull and superstructure blocks/main outfitting.
  • Ensure compliance with classification society and flag bodies rules.
  • Supervise design subcontractor performance in terms of quality, adherence to program, and consistency with yard standards.
  • Collaborate with technical areas of the engineering department, purchasing department, and production department.

Requirements:
  • Masters and/or degree in naval architecture.
  • Previous professional experience in naval platform design and building.
  • Expertise in design for manufacturing and assembly, product value analysis techniques, and naval & nautical design knowledge.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, including Excel, 3D CAD software, and Microstation.

Reports to: Structure Supervisor
