Plant Maintenance Specialist

Job Purpose:
As a Plant Engineer at Barilla Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production and packaging lines. This involves planning and managing maintenance activities, coordinating with internal and external resources, and proposing investment projects to maximize production line performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement investment projects under your plant's responsibility
- Collaborate with the Technical Development team to achieve project objectives
- Define the Investment Forecast (CAPEX) and evaluate sustainability
- Update technical diagrams and drawings of new equipment and upgrades
- Manage plant assets and machine lists on SAP
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance policies
- Define spare parts inventory and standardization strategies
- Coordinate with the Production Manager and Maintenance Manager to plan downtime for new equipment installations
- Promote innovation and energy efficiency in the plant
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
Main Activities:
- Identify areas for improvement in the plant and production equipment
- Develop and implement technical solutions to maximize efficiency and reliability
- Ensure consistency between design and industrialization phases
- Propose equipment improvements and investment in new lines
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Engineering or relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience in project management roles
- Familiarity with construction sites and fluency in English
- Problem-solving attitude, planning and organization skills, and flexibility
