About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Quality Engineer/Technician to join our team at Alstom Gruppe. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure compliance with customer and internal specifications.
- Conduct inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and reduce defects.
- Manage and maintain quality records and documentation.
- Participate in customer inspections and audits.
- Develop and implement training programs for manufacturing teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics and performance indicators.
Requirements
- Technical degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, quality assurance).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial quality assurance or a related field.
- Proven track record of improving quality performance and reducing defects.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 9001, IRIS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Fluency in English (additional languages an asset).
