Alpinestars, a leading global performance motorsports apparel and protection manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Technical CAD Designer to join its R&D department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering 3D mechanical designs for helmets development and production, applying project leader input on features and design.
The selected candidate will be able to convert designer input into 3D data, conforming to the original design concept, and propose designs for whole helmets and relevant components. The successful candidate will also possess a strong skill set in surface modeling with Autodesk ALIAS and/or CATIA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 3D mechanical designs for helmets development and production
- Convert designer input into 3D data
- Propose designs for whole helmets and relevant components
Requirements:
- Education background in design
- Highly developed skill set in surface modeling
- 3 or more years of experience in digital modeling
- Familiarity with mechanical kinematics and materials
- Fluency in English
The position is available in Onè di Fonte, Italy.
