System Engineer

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and implement diagnostic functions and utilities for DC chargers, ensuring seamless integration and remote access.
  • Develop and validate safe operation modes for diagnosed faults and issues, prioritizing user safety and system reliability.
  • Collaborate with the software department to provide requirements and specifications for diagnostic functions and utilities implementation.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of diagnostic tools on chargers in the field, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Provide training and guidance to cross-functional teams on the effective use of diagnostic tools, ensuring seamless adoption and integration.
  • Offer support and guidance for diagnosing and resolving functional issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.

Your Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in subsystem decomposition and system integration of complex electronic devices.
  • Expertise in diagnostic software development and scripting languages, such as Python and C/C++.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and platforms, including debuggers and vehicle diagnostic systems like OBD.
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work approach, with strong analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with fluency in English, Italian, and/or German.
