About the Role

The Senior Legal Advisor - Global Markets will be responsible for handling legal matters related to business activities and initiatives worldwide, with a focus on commercial operations, marketing, communication, and procurement/supply chain. This role will involve contract management, litigation, and small/middle-sized mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management:
    • Definition of contractual needs with relevant functions' briefing
    • Reception and verification of contracts proposed by counterparties
    • Drafting of standard contracts and related clauses
    • Study and elaboration of clauses or reviewing/sharing draft contracts
  • Mergers and Acquisitions:
    • Preparing, conducting, and coordinating due diligence
    • Designing transaction structures
    • Drafting and negotiating transaction documents
  • Litigation:
    • Managing pre-contentious and contentious phases

Requirements:

  • University degree in Law; postgraduate degree in International Business Contracts or Fashion Law is a plus
  • About 5-7 years of work experience in multinational companies or as a lawyer in a first-rate business law firm
  • Robust knowledge and experience in contract drafting, reviewing, negotiation, and management in the EU, the USA, Greater China, and South Asia
  • Knowledge of business and accounting practices in the sector
  • Mastering compliance and IP implications connected to business activities and initiatives
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, flexibility, ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Project management skills
  • Team management skills, able to actively listen and provide clear explanations/clarifications
  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • Proficient with MS Office suite; knowledge of digital tools and AI applied to legal services is a plus
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written; additional fluency in a second/third language (preferably French or Chinese) is a plus
