Elevator Technician

KONE Marine is seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of elevators and escalators on board cruise ships, ferries, and cargo vessels.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on elevators and escalators to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Conduct annual certifications and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients and users during on-site visits.

Requirements and Competencies:

• At least 2 years of experience in elevator repair, maintenance, or installation.

• Strong knowledge of elevator technology and industry standards.

• Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in using computer systems and email for reporting and documentation.

• Ability to work on board vessels for extended periods.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
