About the Role
We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our team in Verona. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting customer projects, configuring and testing onboard electronics products, and providing technical expertise to customers and internal staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company in the railway industry and develop your skills and career within a dynamic and international environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Requirements management for creating system specifications
* Generation and management of technical project documentation and deliverables
* Creating configurations for onboard electronics products
* Specification and execution of system tests according to project requirements
* Responsible for correct configuration control of the project, including hardware and software
* Development of PLC-based applications for some products
* Technical interface with customers and internal employees
* Supporting the technical work of other engineers in the project team
* Supporting customers with technical questions and problems during customer projects
* Commissioning and training of customers, mainly in Europe
* Defining test equipment and tooling requirements and ensuring timely availability
* Support to R&D for validation of new HW and SW solutions
* Support to product management for standardized solutions with 3rd party components

Requirements
* University degree in a technical field
* At least 5 years of experience (preferably in the railway industry)
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of both spoken and written Italian and English is mandatory, while knowledge of German is an advantage
* Familiarity with railway standards EN50126, EN50155, and EN50463 is preferred
