Amazon Italia Transport Srl is seeking a driven Workplace Health & Safety Manager to join our team in Italy.
About the Role:We are looking for an experienced and innovative individual who is passionate about Health and Safety in a professional context. As a Workplace Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for driving health and safety across our AMZL sites in Italy.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the delivery of safety performance and monitoring, in line with personnel, team and functional goals and objectives.
- Ensure that WHS systems are kept accurate at all times, with completed incident reports, alongside all supporting documentation.
- Facilitate or arrange training programs on critical WHS issues. Assist with the coordination and training of new Health and Safety team members.
- Support the implementation of WHS programs within Operations, while delivering key risk assessment activities. Promote compliance with local and EU legislation.
- Assist the WHS Manager with the construction of incident prevention programs. Act as a proxy for the WHS Manager.
- Contribute to requests for improvement of on-site safety and positively impact accident trends.
- Prepare responses to insurers or solicitors in response to any personal injury claims. Participate in the Safety Audit Programs.
- Arrange, facilitate and contribute to site Safety Steering Committee meetings.
- Arrange and conduct basic surveys and checks in the Delivery stations environment, looking into facility processes, Health and Safety supplies as well as employee behaviors.
- Flexibility to travel to support at different locations in Italy as needed.
