Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage IT infrastructure environments, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Conduct system health assessments, perform diagnostic tests, and resolve issues affecting system performance or access to IT services.
- Evaluate customer requirements, identify vulnerabilities, and devise and implement innovative solutions and upgrades to enhance business objectives and security measures.
- Review existing processes, technologies, and vendors to pinpoint areas for enhancement and support process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Provide expert consulting to clients on various topics, including cloud or hybrid workload migrations, disaster recovery planning, and data backup strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements, features, and competitive solutions within the industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
- Demonstrated experience in IT administration and management.
- Commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
- Strong understanding of best practices in IT administration and system security.
- Experience in any of the following technical areas is advantageous:
Operating Systems (Windows and Linux), enterprise backup and recovery processes, system performance monitoring and troubleshooting, administration of technologies such as Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, and other Windows applications, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), Azure, and Office 365. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of independent work.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building trusting relationships.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
