We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at 3250 Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services S.R.L. as a SOC Security Analyst.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and respond to security threats from various data sources, including Firewall, Intrusion Detection Systems, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Antivirus, Endpoint Detection and Response, and other security threat data sources.
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner, adhering to documented Service Level Agreements.
- Document actions in cases to effectively communicate information to internal stakeholders and for historical retrieval.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and security practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
- Resolve problems independently and understand escalation procedures to ensure prompt resolution of security incidents.
- Conduct Security Monitoring activities to provide Security in Depth visibility into potential known and unknown threats that may pose risk to the client's environment.
- Participate in security incidents and act as the technical Subject Matter Expert during significant security incidents.
- Utilize analytics to identify potential threats to the environment and detect, respond, mitigate, and report on cyber threats/incidents that may impact the environment.
- Collaborate with technical leads, including Engineering, Operations, Service Desk, Applications, and BISOs, on matters related to security monitoring across the global footprint.
- Conduct Operations surrounding cyber security incident response technologies, including network logging, security information and event management tools, security analytics platforms, log search technologies, and host-based forensics as applicable.
- Assist in development and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Assist in security console tuning.
- Identify and share threat intelligence that impacts Kyndryl and their customers or products.
- Perform threat hunts that target adversary Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Science.
- 4+ years of experience in security operations/engineering.
- Fluent in English.
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Threat Monitoring capabilities (use case deployment, query building, and metrics).
- Network security (Firewall rules, UTM, WAF, VMS, EDR, Sandbox solutions, NAC, IPS/IDS, Load Balancer, etc.).
- SIEM (IBM Qradar, MS Sentinel) and SOAR (Palo Alto Cortex).
- CTI platforms.
- Operating Systems (MS Windows, Linux).
- Network protocols.
- Scripting experience with Bash or Python.
