Network Infrastructure

At JM Huber Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Senior Network Administrator to ensure the availability and scalability of our network infrastructure. As a key member of our IT team, you will contribute to our network strategy and provide technical support and consultation to various business units and IT teams. Your role will involve designing and implementing network solutions that align with our global technology strategy, as well as representing the technology aspects of our projects and initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a world-class network service delivery to support our business operations and enable the use of the latest technologies.
  • Manage the lifecycle of our network equipment, including maintaining valid service contracts and planning replacements in accordance with manufacturer and company life cycle announcements.
  • Conduct ongoing demand analysis and network improvement initiatives to optimize our network infrastructure.
  • Provide expert-level network troubleshooting and management services for LAN (Cisco and Cisco Meraki), Wireless LAN (Cisco and Cisco Meraki), Firewalls (Fortinet), and Data connections (MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN).
  • Plan, present, and process network infrastructure initiatives to support our business goals.
  • Maintain and implement new network standards and processes, and participate in the development and operational areas of our cloud network connectivity architecture.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
  • Production-level experience in migrating and deploying current Huber standard solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience with Meraki/Cisco technologies and services, including switching and routing, firewall management, TCP/IP networking, VLAN Management, LAN/Wireless LAN, Spanning Tree issue resolution.
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting and developing high-availability network designs.
  • Experience in designing, planning, and implementing LAN and wireless networks in a corporate environment.
