SMS group S.P.A., a leading company in plant and machinery manufacturing, is seeking a skilled Commercial Manager to support project cost controlling in large-scale projects.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in economics with a focus on Controlling or a comparable qualification and several years of professional experience in Controlling in international plant engineering or project business.
Key responsibilities include cost planning, project WBS preparation, and support for the Planning Department in issuing the project schedule and customer invoicing plan.
The Commercial Manager will also conduct project cash flow calculations, support the Supply Chain in issuing the Procurement Plan, and follow up on the progress of incoming costs during the procurement phase.
Additionally, the role involves cost control of ongoing projects, plausibility checks of project resources, and monthly deviation analysis and revision of cost expectations.
The successful candidate will have analytical thinking skills, a target- and result-oriented way of working, and convincing communication and engaging demeanor.
Fluent spoken and written English skills are essential, as well as good knowledge of common MS Office applications and experience in dealing with SAP.
The role is based in Tarcento, Italy, and the company offers a dynamic and international work environment.
