Principal Process Engineer

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Principal Process Engineer to join its Projects – Process and Chemical team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Petrochemical Technologies, such as Olefins production, Polyolefins, and other Intermediates and Plastic materials, as well as Syngas, Ammonia, Urea, and Methanol.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex projects in the Chemical, Petrochemical, and Energy industries
  • Develop and implement process improvements and optimizations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
Requirements
  • MSc degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Fluent in English and Italian (other languages preferred)
  • Knowledge of process simulators
  • Excellent technical background in the same role
  • Proven strong experience in the role on the mentioned technologies
  • Availability to accept responsibilities
  • Ability to coordinate the assigned team
  • Flexibility to cope with project and Company needs
  • Client focus and attitude to team work
