ROLE OBJECTIVE
The primary goal is to evaluate and implement optimal technical solutions that align with the company's requirements for paper mill and plant infrastructure, in accordance with the group's investment strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess vulnerabilities, explore technical advancements, and propose investment recommendations, often through on-site evaluations, to identify the most effective solutions.
- Design technical projects and prepare the necessary documentation.
- Conduct economic and technical evaluations of supplier proposals and compile information to support purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with the procurement team during supplier negotiations as needed.
- Oversee project execution and commissioning processes.
- Offer technical assistance and training to production units, including post-commissioning support.
- Work in conjunction with the Building Officer on infrastructure and facility interventions.
- Stay informed about technological innovations through supplier relationships.
- Foster a culture of safety within the organization.
- Uphold corporate principles and values.
Additional Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Electrical/Electrotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong command of the English language.
- Proficient in Autocad.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
