About Our Client Page Executive, a US listed company with global market coverage in several industries and applications. The local team of 100+ headcount, located in Milan, has a very low turnover due to a unique team spirit and growing mindset since the foundation. Job Description The Sales Director, reporting directly to the Managing Director, will be responsible for the following tasks: Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility of a team of 10 HC with 3 direct reports;
  • Closed support and coaching to all Sales Agents with a client-facing attitude;
  • Strategic view on market coverage, budgeting, and KPI setting for all departments;
  • Full P&L ownership;
  • Participation to Board meetings with a proactive and growing mindset;
  • Identification of new business opportunities and internal sharing of new business streams;
  • Foster a cross-business collaboration by introducing possible deals to other BU;
  • Maintain a Team culture spirit where overall results are more important than individual ones.
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate has preferably an Engineering Degree in Electronic, Electric, or Industrial Automation, or an equivalent on-the-job expertise with 10+ years of experience on the field;
  • A solid understanding of the Italian Industrial Market, with direct contacts with End Users, Purchasing, or Technical Directors, for both Multinational and SME, is key to success;
  • Genuine people-oriented approach, both for internal and external stakeholders, is a key requirement mixed with a performance-driven mindset and strong analytic skills;
  • The new manager needs to be capable of gaining on-the-field trust from the sales team and Peers, having an engaging approach, empowering the existing talents, and attracting new ones;
  • Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory.
