About the Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our team at Tyvak International. As a key member of our satellite development team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed mechanical designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in satellite configuration and mechanical design
  • Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models of satellite systems and subsystems based on project requirements and specifications
  • Support AIV for the acceptance of designed parts
  • Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements
  • Maintain an organized database of CAD files, ensuring version control and proper documentation
Requirements
  • Belonging to protected categories (L. 68/99) is mandatory
  • Previous experience as a CAD designer
  • BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent degree required
  • Strong mechanical background
  • Ability to work with solid modeling software and FEA (SolidWorks)
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in applying advanced engineering principles
  • Knowledgeable of inspection equipment, i.e., micrometers, indicators
  • Proficient use of written and oral English language is mandatory
