Position OverviewThe Engineering Manager – Dalbello Ski Boots oversees the engineering team and processes to develop and deliver seasonal ski boot products for the Dalbello brand. This role reports to the Ski Boot Product Director and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet industry standards.
Responsibilities- Lead design, development, testing, and quality validation for Dalbello ski boots.
- Ensure products meet market needs, safety standards, and exhibit high quality.
- Collaborate with factories to industrialize products and set QC specs and tolerances.
- Develop relationships with external suppliers to procure tools and materials effectively.
- Manage on-time development execution to deliver samples and mass production on schedule.
- Analyze product costing details and reduce waste in materials and processes.
- Bring innovative solutions to market to excite skiers and grow sales.
- Optimize processes for on-time delivery and hand-off engineering files efficiently.
- 5+ years of experience managing technical footwear engineering.
- Proven experience in product development and engineering management, preferably in the sports equipment industry.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong project management skills and leadership abilities.
Estimated salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year.
